1. Overview

Native English Tutors ("we", "us", "the Platform") is an online marketplace connecting students with native English-speaking tutors for 1-on-1 lessons. By using this platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform.

3. Bookings & Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in Euros (€). A 15% platform fee is applied to each booking. Tutors receive 85% of the lesson price via Stripe Connect.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

Students may cancel a booking more than 24 hours before the lesson for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson are non-refundable. If a tutor cancels, the student always receives a full refund.

5. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of the Platform. Tutors are responsible for the quality of their lessons, setting accurate availability, and meeting their scheduled commitments.

6. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to attend booked lessons on time and behave respectfully. Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions.

7. Content & Conduct

Users must not post offensive, misleading, or illegal content. We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform facilitates connections between tutors and students. We are not responsible for the quality of lessons, disputes between users, or any damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
